This incident resulted in the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

The arrests follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
